Vol 1 391p The Seeds of Revolt, 1821 - 1849
Vol 2 304p The Years of Ordeal, 1850 - 1859
Vol 3 375p The Stir of Liberation, 1860 - 1865
Vol 4 501p The Miraculous Years, 1865 - 1871
Vol 5 756p The Mantle of the Prophet, 1871 - 1881

Joseph Frank’s definitive biography of Dostoevsky consists of 5 volumes totaling 2327 pages.
I’m going to complete this by reading about 50 pages per week.

Volume 1 discusses his early writing: Poor Folk, The Double, and Netotchka Nezvanova
So I will read those too along the way.

Amazing! I've been trying to get my hands on his biography but its been unavailable on Amazon for a while. Such a great idea to read this alongside his writings!
