ReadKnitHoard | 18 comments KJ Charles' kindle edition of The Gentle Art of Fortune Hunting is messed up. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

The original edition has been overtaken by all new information of the second edition (different publisher, hence a second—separate—edition).

These two editions need to be separated and the original edition needs to be protected from code trying to override it.

Please and thank you. (It's too complicated for me to dive in… and make a bigger mess.)

annob [on hiatus] (annob) | 4048 comments Sorry for butting in David, but I happened to have the problematic 2021 Kindle edition on my own bookshelf, so was able to find my way to it. It was stuck in Invalid status. I've restored it to Public so it's visible again. CrazyBot in action likely cause :/ The status changes not visible in the changlog, only in the Data Sources table at the end of it.

David Raz (davidraz) | 13623 comments To summarize, the edits the OP talked about were actually valid, relating to a new edition by Orion.
The earlier edition was hidden by the bot and now restored.
So, nothing new.

David Raz (davidraz) | 13623 comments I'm hunting thousands of comics that CrazyBot hid, this case is the easy life.
