i am sorry but adam kent is so insufferable genuinely i thought he was annoying in the first book. the second one he had me fed up with his petty childish acts. but IM SORRY the AUDACITY this man has in ignite me. for reference i just rage quit read for tonight lemme give you context

actually talking about what happened warning————-

not only did he actively call Juliette stupid and double down and then tell her to end her life he also just said
“i was happier….when i thought she was dead” (169) and then DOUBLED DOWN. girl be so for real right now. i hate him so much and that is my little rant about how insufferable he is. thank you

When I read that I wanted to actually punch him, but yk I kinda couldn't so I punched my pillow like 20 times picturing him as the pillow. Ik I'm extreme but if ur gonna hurt my girl Juliette you've got something coming for you.

But I just loved it every time he got jealous of Warner in Ignite Me! It felt so good. Like BACK OFF, she's taken by your BROTHER haha

gosh adam kent just seems so selfish in my opinion. im currently reading ignite me (im very close to finishing) and the stuff he says is so despicable.

it was so annoying when he would insult her and say “i can disable you” like okay? juliette will always hold more power than adam.

anyways, i always been team aaron, even when adam and juliette were hooking up. i had a feeling that aaron was a good person, just didn’t come off so pleasable. and besides book tok was going crazy for him so i was team aaron.

but adam always annoyed me. and throughout unravel me he was holding her back, keeping her quiet.

aaron’s better.

i understand his character more throughout the series, but he was just insufferable in ignite me i could not handle him. he probably threw about five tantrums in that book alone

honestly as someone who will die for her sister...I can understand Adam's POV

he ain't gonna be quite if he almost lost his brother because of the girl he met a few months ago

okay. i hate adam sm and i don't think some people understand. i've convinced some of my friends to start reading shatter me after i finished the series, and they're only on shatter me, destroy me, and unravel me, and it's physically killing me bc they hate aaron warner and think adam is sweet. I NEED them to read ignite me. hopefully their opinions will change. while i appreciate how he cares for james, that is not an excuse to go being a jerk to everyone else because he's concerned for his little brother's safety and bc the world is horrible. that is NOT an excuse for your anger issues. i'm so sry if i give spoilers, but he said "i was happier when i thought you were dead." to juliette. just because she's slightly in love with another man. i mean, come on. chill out. if you really cared for her you'd be happy for her being happy. instead, he's selfish and i HATE him.

also, aaron is just gernerally better than adam. totally. i also might be slightly in love with aaron...

He was so annoying in Unravel Me and Ignite Me! Like in Unravel Me Juliette needed to tell him like what THREE times that they needed to break up???
And do I need to say anything about Ignite Me? Why was he so mean all of a sudden??
Conclusion: I am and always will be an Adam hater.
