Anaya swiftly darted through the people, doing her best to look inconspicuous. She glanced behind her, wondering if she was still being followed by the Peacemakers.
Anaya picked up the pace, trying to lose the Peacemakers, and was about to pass by the coal mines. She shuddered, the coal mines still gave her nightmares, and she was glad that wasn't her job.
Jace Saw the Peace makers chasing Anaya. "you've go to be kidding." he sighed avoiding human interaction he ducked into an alley.(The only Character i created is an introvert)
((Yes! Introverts of the world unite! ((Seperately!))))
Anaya swiftly sidestepped into the alley, and the Peacemakers ran by, still trying to be discrete in their chase, though it was obvious they had been chasing her. She breathed a sigh of relief and turned, seeing Jace.
"Um... hi?"

"Um... hi?"
"A-are you okay?" Anaya said, cursing herself for picking up his stutter. She had gotten rid of hers a while ago, but it often popped back up when she was nervous. "Did I scare you? Sorry." She apologized, trying to listen where the Peacemakers were and where they were going.
"Just Nervous." Jace heard the peacemakers and tried to ignore them.(what do you characters do that get them chased it is quite humorous)
((Woah, wait, that's so funny, I didn't even realize that that happens all the time witw lol))
"Don't worry, I think I've lost them, they're not quite brilliant, if you know what I mean." Anaya remarked, looking over her shoulder, and hearing the receding voices of the Peacemaker. She breathed another sigh and turned back to Jace. "Um, I'm Anaya." She said, holding out her hand.

"Nice to meet you. So, um, we may be hiding for a while, so we may as well chat a bit. What are you doing in an alleyway, anyway?" Anaya asked, trying to speak with a you-don't-have-to-answer tone to try and make him relax a bit.
"Noticed the peacekeepers and avoided them." Jace heard the peacekeepers walking around the alley way.
"Good plan." Anaya agreed, not noticing the Peacekeepers. She wasn't sure why he might be hiding from them, but she wasn't exactly sure if it was safe to know.
Jace had escaped them once before. because he had left work early he had to keep a distance from them.
The Peacemakers circled back around to the alleyway, although Anaya didn't notice. She watched Jace carefully, wondering what his story was.
"Just a little." Anaya said, admitting to her curiosity. The Peacemakers finally came into the alleyway and Anaya jumped, not expecting them to see it in the first place.
"You what? Okay, don't freak out, the Peacemakers are like right behind you, follow me quickly, for an escape. Or don't, if you've got a better escape, take that, if we split up, we don't have to deal with as many each." Anaya tells him, turning and taking off, disappearing into the crowd again.
She weaved through the ever-moving mob of people and the Peacemakers were easily left behind, and she noted that Jace was still following her. She led him to her home, the door of which was mimicking a bunker shelter on the ground. She waved him in and began climbing down the ladder.
"Thanks. Mother? She must be out right now. She's a nurse, which is what I plan to be someday." Anaya tells Jace offhandedly.
"That too, but for now, we're here, and we do what we can." Anaya said, glancing at a photo of her father and older sister mournfully.
"Well, my father was a very quiet revolutionist, he did little things that helped some of the District see what was utterly wrong with the system, and the Peacemakers didn't like that. And they killed him down in the mines, along with my cousin. They say it was an accident, an explosion, but everybody knows it was planned. And my sister died defending a starving child from being beaten for stealing." Anaya went quiet. "Anyways, you're welcome to stay for however long you wish." And with that, she disappeared into the many corridors silently.
Jace stood there he didn't want to Leave the District anymore he realized he needed to help people inside the District
Anaya tapped on the walls, the noise echoing, but it had to be done. She tested the security of the walls, a daily chore.
"Are you alright?" Anaya said, popping into the room to help him up, "I forgot to warn you, there's a bunch of hidden areas, some of which I don't even know of."
Anaya stepped around the door, and saw a large room. "Woah." She breathed out, looking around, "How'd I not see this before?"
Anaya nodded at Jace in thanks for the lights, and stepped further into the room, checking out the integrity of the ceiling before she went too far in.
Anaya glanced down, and saw it too, "Thanks..." She said trailing off, wondering why there was a bear trap underground.
"Ooh, a book! We don't really find these around much, they're quite rare to find in old rooms." Anaya informs him, talking quickly.
