Alanna walks into school with her books tight to her chest. She drops her bike outside the school steps with a smile
Chase was lounging on a step outside of the school, he was eating an apple.
Alanna winces at the loud sound of his chewing. She glared at him with snnoyance "do you mind?"
" No I don't mind," Chase answers with a grin and continues to bite and chew the apple.
Alanna rolls her eyes "You must be in the capitol" she says with irritence as she sits beside him
" I'm Chase Matthews, second in command for District number five, don't ask how, I just am," Chase says as he chews the apple.
Alanna winces again "I'm district number 6" she said with a yawn "My name is Alanna Quirk and just asking could you chew quieter?"
Alanna sighs and kicks at a rock "What's it like in District 5?"
Alanna smiles "Er, cool. So how old are you?"
" 16," Chase says as he finishes the apple and throws it at a nerd.
Alanna gasps and throws the apple in a bin "your beast!"
" Ah it missed the nerd anyways, and I was aiming for the trash bin, not the nerd, calm your beads," Chase says.
Alanna glowered at him then sat back beside him "Fine, so Chase what's your favorite color?"
Alanna raises and eyebrow "Really? Black is your favorite color? Like your heart?"
" Hey! My heart is pure red!" Chase says.m
"Nope your heart is as black as coal" she teases
Chase tackles Alanna, " Say that again?" He asks teasingly as he looked down at her.
Alanna's heartbeat picked up speed "Errrrr," she said as she looked at his face
Chase grins and he gets off of Alanna.
Alanna pouts "No fair" she whines fakely "That was a whole minute you weren't being arrogent"
Chase looks at her, " Maybe it'll happen more often, do you want to be my friend?" Chase asks.
Alanna smiles "yay!" She squeals then covers it with a cough "I mean, uh, sure" she said twirling herblonde hair
Chase scoffs and he smiles sweetly.
Alanna smiles and said "So, Chase, your heart still as black as coal"
" Yeah sure, go ahead and believe that," Chase says.
Alanna laughs "Nah, its not anymore. Are mt you gonna ask me any questions?"
" What's your favorite thing to do besides judge people based on their looks and attitudes?" Chase asks.
"Hahaha. I actually like to ride my bike. And hunt, a little" alanna said
Chase sat up right away, " You like to hunt?" Chase asks.
" Most girls I meet, just like to sit around on their stupid phones or hang with the jocks," Chase answers.
Alanna snorts "Ugh, those girls are annoying" she says
" I know right, and some of them want to get into my pants, those are the most annoying girls ever," Chase says.
"What do you do if they try to get in your pants" alanna asks laughing, clutching her stomach
" I tell them to f*** off of course," Chase says.
Alanna stops laughing and sits up straight, squirming awkwardly "ooookay"
Chase sighs and he looks away.
Alanna starts tickling his stomach
Chase grimaces and he moves away from Alanna.
Alanna frowns "I'm sorry,Chase" she.says with a sad voice
" It's fine, I don't like to be tickled though," Chase says sadly.
Alanna moves closer "Why not? Everyone likes to laugh"
" My father used to tickle me when I was little, but he died when I was three and that changed my entire living style," Chase says.
