II really loved Gilead Nidhi! It's slow moving but so beautiful, both in terms of style and content. And Wharton is always wonderful, for me anyway.

Hope you have a great reading month!

I'm almost through the Poldar saga, and have appreciated it quite; the last ones are a bit far fetched; still very nice reads!

Kat (kat_falkenroth) | 590 comments Sounds good! I'll start Poldark next

Leslie | 16369 comments I will finish up (or at least continue with) my 4 books in progress, which are
The Diary of Samuel Pepys
Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee: An Indian History of the American West
Demon Copperhead (AAB group read)
The Black Sheep

And I have started another one (!) - One Lavender Ribbon

I will also be reading some mystery books, mostly unplanned but definitely Ask A Policeman, The Crooked Hinge and The Case of the Constant Suicides & hopefully White Butterfly.

Probably will be reading some sci fi or fantasy, most likely City of Dragons and perhaps The Unconsoled.

message 13: by Leslie (new)

Leslie | 16369 comments Well, I did okay with my list but I am glad that I wasn't more ambitious...

I think I was just glad to finish Rhythm of War by Brandon Sanderson. That was a big book.

It does seem like every book he writes is close to 1,000 pages! I've enjoyed the couple I've read by him though.
