I read this one last year so I'll be happy to join the discussion. By the way, the book is based on a real-life trip to Mexico that Greene took, which he documented in the non-fiction book The Lawless Roads. And it was filmed by Director John Ford as "The Fugitive" (not to be confused with the Harrison Ford action film).
