Ember and Jack enter into their suit. "Wow it is crazy out there." Ember says taking a deep breath and getting a glass of water. She came to where the couch was and sat.

"Yeah, my sister Jenny would like it." Jack said, smiling for the first time in a while, but then it quickly dropped when reality came back to him.

"Jack are you okay?" Ember came to him and put a hand on his shoulder giving him a concern glance.

"Yes." Jack said, wanting to feel that way, "No." He corrected, shaking his head.
Their mentor, Zack, walked in behind them and Jack moved out of his way.

"I am here." Ember whispered to him.

"I see that." Jack said, slightly confused at what she meant. Some people said he wasn't the most conductible wire in the toolbox, but he thought he was just different from other people.

"Hello Ember and jack. So we will have interview with the capitol to show a good impression. We must appear vulnerable. We need to be underestimated by the other districts. You." Zack pointed at Jack. "You will tell them about your poor sister. And you." He pointed at Ember. "You will say you are the only one who is supporting your family." Zack then just left.

"Okaaay then?" Jack said after a moment passed, "I guess we will wait until the interviews?" He trailed off, not sure at all what he was supposed to do. He stood awkwardly, feeling lonely and out of place without even one of his siblings around.

"Well now that is settle I will head to my room." Ember stood up and left.

Jack nodded at her back, and then ventured off into the other direction, exploring in general.
