Hello everyone! Recently I learned that you can link Goodreads to our Library catalog, in order to see if a book you want can be requested through our Library system. I've made a set of instructions in case any of you would like to try this out. Please let me know if these instructions don't work, and happy reading!:)

Goodreads Card Catalog Instructions

EDIT: I've noticed that some books, even though they are in our card catalog, aren't showing up because the ISBN numbers for these items are different in our catalog than they are in Goodreads. So if you aren't able to find an item by going to the card catalog from Goodreads, it's probably not a bad idea to do a normal card catalog search just to make sure it really isn't in our system.

Also, because Goodreads is organized so that each "book page" represents a specific edition of the book (with a specific ISBN), it will only bring up the listing in our card catalog that is for that specific edition of the book (rather than all of the different editions of the book). So if you can't find any results for a book by going to the catalog from it's book page, you can either a.) do a normal card catalog search or b.) click on one of the other editions of the book in Goodreads (the tiny pictures under the item's description) to see if there are other editions available).
