King of Wrath is a typical marriage of convenience/forced engagement romance that develops between two strangers who are not very enthusiastic about the arrangement. In this case, Dante Russo and Vivian Lau.

Dante runs his business with a ruthless iron fist. He thrives on maintaining control, but when he lets that façade slip, he can become a cruel judge, jury, and executioner to those who cross him. Vivian is a popular event coordinator in the city and has made a name for herself with her successful string of events.

The main avenue of conflict comes in the form of Vivian’s father, who blackmails Dante into marrying his daughter or else some information he has will come to light that will undoubtedly lead to his brother’s death. Dante plans to honor the year long engagement while planning Mr. Lau's total destruction.

The two main characters are very different, and it was fun to get to know them by reading the story through the dual narrative. Throughout the book, certain characters are highlighted in a way that makes it clear they will be the subjects of future books. This is a seven books series that will be based on the seven deadly sins. The next book is King of Pride. These are sexy, steamy reads so they won't appeal to everyone.
