I just finished Part 1. Not much has happened, just setting up the characters, but I'm intrigued. (view spoiler)[Kamali's libido is a little off-putting. I mean no shame on her or anything but being in her head is just a little icky. I think I like Tristan the most. I'm looking forward to the development. (hide spoiler)]

Part 2: Still not a lot to say but I've been trying to make at least a little note at the end of each part. (view spoiler)[I like Nico's roommates and I hope we get more of them. The shifter guy and the half mermaid/half satre?? Fun! (hide spoiler)]

Part 3: (view spoiler)[Fun to see them all in action. I like how Tristan and Libby worked together, him aiming her at the real people because there were so many illusions. I still like Tristan. I very much relate to Libby and her anxiety. I like that Nico knows her well enough to know she was being influenced because she hadn't said anything in a while haha.

I wonder what Nico and Gideon have going on. I hope it's nothing nefarious. I kind of like them too.

I wonder what happened with Parisa and why she's all shell-shocked. Something she saw in someone's head? Or just the death around her? (hide spoiler)]

I started the book today and so far it looks promising even though the pace seems a little slow

Part 5: (view spoiler)[I am not surprised at all that someone is supposed to die. Not much his happening though. After the first test defending the place there's not much going on. Secrets have been revealed but nothing incredibly surprising. (hide spoiler)]

Part 6: (view spoiler)[It's still pretty slow but I think I'm liking it? It's a lot of talk and theoretical stuff but it's interesting. Callum killing Parisa in Nico's head during there little competition was pretty messed up. I think he should be the one to go but because that's so obvious he probably won't be. Nico's conversation with Parisa brought a few things to light about him, like he can turn into a falcon?! Cool! Can all physical medeians do that if they are trained well enough? I still like Tristan. I wonder what exactly happened when he saw Ezra outside. They were on the same "plane." Was that plane... thinking about the same woman? (hide spoiler)]

I wrote both of those thoughts down in notes when I wasn't near a computer and looking at both of them I think my enjoyment of this book depends a lot on my mood at the time of reading it. Sometimes it's a bit slow but sometimes the slowness doesn't bother me.

Enjoying it so far but only 50 pages in…….

Part 7: (view spoiler)[Well that was predictable. They never should have let Tristan go in alone considering Callum's power. I'm hoping he doesn't die. I don't think he will because his power is the one that's the least understood. We need time to figure it out. (hide spoiler)]

I agree with you, Gave it a 3.5 stars.

(view spoiler)[ Very slow moving book, the plot twist was pretty spelled out from the beginning. Libby was a bit annoying from beginning to end. Nico was the same but the friendship he has with Gideon made him more likeable. Parisa's powers was interesting. Overall the characters were just ok.

I didn't think Ezra was going to play a big role in the storyline. Him knowing Atlas was not expected. (hide spoiler)]

Since I have the other books, will continue with the series to see what happens.
