hi everyone, my apologies for being late to organise this month's read, if you have any suggestions post them here!

spring snow by yukio mishima because it's spring idk

I am not sure who will be up for it, but I am starting War and Peace for the first time in the next couple of days but I will take my time with it and not push myself to finish it in March because I am reading other books for the 52 weeks reading challenge…

the sheer length of war and peace scares me

I think if we were going to do War and Peace it'd have to be book of the year not BOTM haha

Jane Eyre maybe (I've been putting it off for almost a year and I need a big push to get me into it)

@liz I know, right! But my edition is divided across 3 books so it looks less intimidating. I have the Everyman’s library edition…

Since it’s kind of international women’s day on march 8th, I suggest some feminist/womanist authors like Simone de Beauvoir or Sylvia Plath ! Perhaps « The woman destroyed » or « Mrs Dalloway ». Or maybe Tony Morrison’s « Beloved ». :)

Additionally I'd like to suggest the following books (which are a bit shorter, around 100 - 200 pages each, since March has already begun):
