hi everyone, my apologies for being late to organise this month's read, if you have any suggestions post them here!

remi.☘︎ ݁˖ (exiledcrown) | 58 comments spring snow by yukio mishima because it's spring idk

Rana (This City That Book) | 23 comments I am not sure who will be up for it, but I am starting War and Peace for the first time in the next couple of days but I will take my time with it and not push myself to finish it in March because I am reading other books for the 52 weeks reading challenge…

remi.☘︎ ݁˖ (exiledcrown) | 58 comments the sheer length of war and peace scares me

Lex I think if we were going to do War and Peace it'd have to be book of the year not BOTM haha

message 6: by Lex (new)

Lex Jane Eyre maybe (I've been putting it off for almost a year and I need a big push to get me into it)

Rana (This City That Book) | 23 comments @liz I know, right! But my edition is divided across 3 books so it looks less intimidating. I have the Everyman’s library edition…

remi.☘︎ ݁˖ (exiledcrown) | 58 comments that's so convenient! i already own penguin's and it's 1392 ×.×

Hanna ♡ | 7 comments Since it’s kind of international women’s day on march 8th, I suggest some feminist/womanist authors like Simone de Beauvoir or Sylvia Plath ! Perhaps « The woman destroyed » or « Mrs Dalloway ». Or maybe Tony Morrison’s « Beloved ». :)

remi.☘︎ ݁˖ (exiledcrown) | 58 comments i second 'the woman destroyed'

I want to read this one so bad!

@Melissa: Jane Eyre is so good, one of my favourite novels. I'd be down for a reread tbh.

@Hanna: I love your idea! <3

rina.reads | 102 comments So, I second Jane Eyre and Spring Snow.

Additionally I'd like to suggest the following books (which are a bit shorter, around 100 - 200 pages each, since March has already begun):

In Love by Alfred Hayes
The Statement of Stella Maberly by F. Anstey
Agnes Grey by Anne Brontë
Olalla by Robert Louis Stevenson
A Sicilian Romance by Ann Radcliffe

message 14: by Jesse (new)

Jesse | 23 comments I suggest All Quiet on the Western Front if anyone would want to read that.

I've got that one unread at home already so I'd be up for it!

Pax | 6 comments May I suggest “Dubliners” by James Joyce?
And I second “In Love”
