The room is packed for the dance, the crowd buzzing and chatting merrily.

Carlos and Logan didn't have a date,
Damien and Johnathan had separated with theirs in the beginning.
Logan and Carlos were looking around planning a scheme.
"It's risky." Logan said.
"Anything we do is risky" Carlos said staring at the crowd.
"Fair." Logan looked up as they brainstormed how it would work.

Carlos looked around for anyone familiar. Specifically a strange girl who kicked his balls the other day and demanded a new book then completely switched her mood.
He checked his phone, Logan doing the same thing at the same time.
They looked at each other odd and laughed, knowing exactly each other's thoughts.
"Maybe we should have planned it better." Logan said

Poe was standing near the entrance - close but not too close - to wait, hoping he hadn't been stood up. He'd thrown on a pair of black slacks, a black waistcoat, a purple button-down the same shade as the half of his hair with the top two buttons undone and the sleeves rolled up, and a silver lock pendant.

Peter walked in (view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)] with a slight scowl, "Where is he?" he grumbled to himself, looking around for the male.

He stepped away from the wall in an attempt to make himself seen.
"Hey,"

Peter looked at him with a smirk, "Not bad looking, checkers."

"Heh, could say the same to you,"

Peter rolled his eyes, "Yeah yeah..."

He rubbed his arm, right above the small skull tattoo on his wrist.

"I shouldn't have come, things are just gonna go wrong..."
He traces the lines of the tattoo.

Carlos and logan were just about ready to pull the fire alarm, when Damien texted the GC
"Its too early for idiocy. Dont."
They looked at eachother bittered by the disapointing warning.
Logan ran his fingers through his hair.
"Your cousins not in town rn...right?"
"Nope!" Carlos said with a hug smile as he ricked back and forth on his heels, gazing the crowd.

Peter grabbed poe's hand with an eye roll and grumbled, yanking him to the dance floor. "Stop being depressed!"

"Whoa-"

Peter stopped in the middle of the dance floor and looked at poe, "Look. I didn't offer my time for you to act all depressed and shit. Try and have some fun."

He let out a startled squeak in response.

(resending as a bump)
"I can try...?"

Peter smiled a bit, "Good!"

He tried for a smile, but being a little frazzled it was pretty awkward.

Peter smirked with a satisfied nod.

"So, uh, anything you wanna do...?"

Peter shrugged, stuffing his hands in his pockets. "I don't know really...You?"

"I dunno..."
He traced the lines of his tattoo again.

"Wanna grab a bite to eat or somethin'...?"

Peter shrugged, "Eh...why not?"

"Okay then..."
He was still tracing the tat as he walked.
