Yonnava had her head down, cloak hood covering her face while she made her way through the forest. She had to keep moving if she was going to make it to her fort in time. A bag full of stolen goods hung over her shoulder, thumping against her back with every step she took.
Yonnava's eye was caught by another female walking along the forest floor. She quickly ducked behind a tree, hoping to stay hidden from the girl. She peaked around the trunk carefully, watching the girl's every move. Her eye also caught that of another; or more so others. Three men dressed in blackish robes, similar to hers, followed the unaware female.
The three men made a circle around her, making her unable to escape. Yannava wanted to just turn her head and keep walking, but something made her stay. She sighed heavily, placing down her bag of goods into a bush beside her. She pulled her hood closer to her while she began to make her way towards the four. She pulled an arrow out of her pack, crouching down and fitting it into her bow while she aimed. With a quick snap, the arrow flew right into the chest of the first male.
Yannava steadied her aim once more, letting another arrow fly and hit the second man. She stood up carefully, setting another arrow into her bow with a swift movement. She let go, the arrow knocking into the last man's chest with lightning speed. She let out a satisfied huff before pulling down her hood, running a hand through her hair.
Yonnava rolled her eyes, "You would be dead, doll. You would be dead." she answered. She hopped down from her little ledge, grabbing her sack on the way down. With a small tug she pulled her hood closer to herself, "What is a chick like you doing out here anyway?" she asked skeptically.
Yonnava was taken back for a moment, nobody had every asked about her before. She quickly placed back on a steeled expression, "That is none of your concern." she answered, voice full of venom.
Yonnava nodded, "Good. Now if you will excuse me-" she turned to leave the girl. A small gold trinket fell from her sack, thinking onto the floor. It didn't look like something an average person would have. It looked more so like the type of thing a royal would have. She paused, glancing at the object on the floor in a still position.
Yonnava stepped back slightly, shifting on her feet. "Again. None of your business." she hissed slightly, glaring at the girl. Yonnie knew she had been found out, she slipped up. The only thing she could do is deny.
Yonnava scoffed slightly, "Yeah yeah, whatever..." she brushed off the girl's kind tone. What was it with this girl? Acting all nice and sweet and cute...Cute? She face palmed internally, these feelings were hard to understand.
Yonnava sighed heavily, "My place. It's not too dreadfully far from here." she answered with a shrug. She draped the bag over her shoulder once more before looking at Lexi. "What about you, Doll?" she asked mockingly.
Yonnava grumbled in annoyance, "Ugh! I have better thing stop do then to 'spend time' with a little nothing girl."
She sighed, running a hand through her hair with a huff. "Fine! fine! okay! But you have to be silent! got it?"
Yannava rolled her eyes with an annoyed groan before slipping a map out of her pocket. "Okay. Follow me." she sighed, beginning to walk the other direction.
Yannava and the girl walked from what seemed miles before stopping at a dome like shape made from tree branches and leaves. She ducked under part of the 'doorway' and motioned for Lexi to follow.
Yannava snapped her head around, "One more question from you and I will drown you in the nearest river I can find." she hissed.
Yannava opened her mouth to speak but then quickly shut it. She hesitated a moment before speaking, "Just shut up, will you?" she grumbled, going back to sorting.
Yonnava shook her head with a disappointed sigh, "I am making a heist on the royals at midnight. My biggest heist ever, mind you." she explained.
Yonnava scoffed, "Why would I listen to you? I know what I am doing and don't need your opinion." she said with an eye roll.
Yannava chuckled, "You mean like being a guard for the queen? or a biker? or a florist? Yeah, no." she said through laughs, "Consider your warning ignored." she smirked.
Yannava glared at her, getting up close to her. "Let me get one thing through that pretty little head of yours. I don't. need. your. pity." she sneered.
Yannava paused, a faint blush covering her face, "Shut up already!" she spat, storming away to prepare for tonight.
Yannava let out a sigh of relief, "That is the best idea you have had since I met you." she agreed in a snarky tone.
Yonnava snorted in retort, "I highly doubt that, doll. Highly doubt that." she corrected with a smirk.
