"well here we go" he said as he made a huge jet of water shoot into the air then do a spin and finally back into the lake
Helena clapped. “Wow, amazing, never seen anything like it.” She said sarcastically. “Want to see something cool?”
Helena pulled out a sketchbook with a picture of a cyclops in it. “You see the cyclops right?” She said, before snapping. The cyclops got a second eye, like a normal human.
“Bending the mist.” Helena said like it was obvious. “Is that to complicated for your tiny mind.” (Be right back in about 45 - 60 minutes)
“You know the water thing isn’t that cool.” Helena pointed out. “I can bend the mist whenever I want, you can only control the water when near water.” (Byeee)
Helena noticed his change in expression. She relaxed more. “Your fine.” She said. “I guess the water thing is a little cool.” (I’m back!)
“My mom’s the goddess of the mist.” Helena said, not saying her mother’s name since she loathed her.
Helena rolled her eyes. “Hecate, goddess of Crossroads, magic, and the mist.” She said. “The fact that Hecate’s the goddess of the mist is unknown to most demigods and mortals.”
“Have you ever wondered if the gods actually cared?” Helena said. “Like beneath all their layers they really loved each and every demigod child they had?”
Jackson led Emory out to the lake. He sat down at the edge of the lake, just far enough the only his shoes got wet, which he didn’t mind.
Emory sat a little farther back, close enough to see Jackson and still be able to talk to him, but not close enough to get wet."I've never really come out here that much," Emory said. "I don't know why. It's beautiful."
Jackson nodded. “Usually for people reasons I avoid this place but it’s not to bad of Friday mornings so that’s when I usually come.” He checked his bag for his clock and saw it was 11:30 am. He pulled out the medicine pills for his nose and dry swallowed them, one at a time of course.
"Hm." Emory noticed him taking the pills for his nose."Does your nose feel any better?" She asked, leaning forward to try and get a better look at Jackson's face.
“Yeah. It’ll occasionally hurt but not to much.” Jackson said. “Also this isn’t the painkiller, it’s just the regular pills.” He said, putting the pills back in his bag.
"Alright!" Emory smiled, leaning back on her palms, and looking around. The lake was beautiful, and the sun felt nice shining down on their skin.
“Should’ve grabbed the sunscreen,” Jackson muttered as he dug through his bag. “I’m going to burn.” He sighed. He turned to Emory with a smile. “You look like you’re thoroughly enjoying this.” He noted, smiling widely. “I’m glad.”
“Did you not think about bringing sunscreen or wearing sunscreen ?” Jackson asked them with a smile.
“You do realize if I burn too badly you’re going to be the one bringing me to the infirmary, right?” Jackson said with a cross between a smile and a smirk and an eye roll.
Emory went quiet for a few seconds before bursting out into laughter."Jackson you're so stupid," she said through her laughter.
