Jo | 1094 comments If anybody wants to read any of the short stories:
The Tale of The Bamboo Cutter there is a version of the story in this book of Japanese Fairy Tales on Project Gutenburg. It seem slightly abridged / simplified translation compared to the version in the book which maybe due to the fact it's in a fairy tales book.

This month's book also contains a short story Urashima Taro which it says is the earliest known time travel tale. This one can be found in another Japanese fairy tale book on PG, title Urashima. It's also
a shorter version.

There is also Micromegas by Voltaire which can be found here

I hadn't been able to find a copy. It'll be next week before I can get to it though.

Some are quite short stories. The book has two stories I can't find links to at the moment, The Dream of Scipio by Cicero or True History by Lucian of Samosata (and this is really worth reading).

There are a couple of stories from Arabian Nights, The Ebony Horse

And
The City of Brass. http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/3440

That then covers all the stories in the book.
