2020 In Literature discussion

No, no, no. Avoid this one. Predictable, way to violent, and no ending! I know this is on the poplar list but who the heck is checking this out? You may want to do a psych evaluation on those reading it. I didn't mind the mystery of who done it that was actually surprising, but the violence, the sick up bring of Jazz and the idea that every woman in the book is a victim, is just way to creepy. I will not read book two even though without a proper ending I don't know what happens next. I don't want too.

It isn't my usual reading choice but I love Lyga's work. It was difficult for me to get through the graphic bits but I wanted to know who the killer was and it moved quickly for me. I might read the next two to find out how he defeats his father (I am assuming he will be victorious).
