Nistha and I are reading Dear Aaron by Mariana Zapata. Everyone welcome to join :)

I started reaching and reached 20%. Ruby's email on Dec 29 2008 if need more context, haha, difficult to pinpoint w/o chapter numbers.
A book in the form of letters - nice, I had read This is How You Lose the Time War and Where Rainbows End which were of similar format and loved both of them.

I did not know before starting that it was Jasmine's sister's tale. It has started nice and I can see how MZ had masterfully made the email content more and more deep as the conversation goes on. What an old-school way of falling in love!

I am at the beginning of chapter 13. The book is now back to chapter format (atleast what I think).

Their conversation has been nice. The jokes were lame but they made me laugh sometimes. Again, an organic development and for the first time I don't know much about Aaron physically. I think he got jealous when she mentioned the date and went MIA. XoXo was funny haha, I relate so much to her, I can also randomly send it to one my crushes (hide spoiler)]

I am at this point too now.
In my audiobook it has chapters from the beginning but it's just separated into months lol
(view spoiler)[I was already at the November emails when I realized that this is THAT Ruby haha. I love how MZ writes standalone books but somehow connects them with other books. It's really awesome.
So far, I'm enjoying it and can't wait for the romance to happen. (hide spoiler)]

At the end of chapter 19.

I felt the scene at the airport so much. I met my boyfriend online too and when I flew to India to meet him the first time, I was so excited but also a bit scared too. I couldn't find him at first either but after that it was wonderful.
There's something about MZ's books.. Every book of hers I read feels even better than the one before to me. I just love it. (hide spoiler)]

I loved their conversations and especially loved when it went from email to a flowing conversation. I really like their chemistry (hide spoiler)]

I know right? The scene was so well-written! Omg! It must be so relatable to you - how does MZ write about these stuff so accurately?

I finished and 5 stars! This book was so cute, especially from the time when they meet face to face.

(view spoiler)[ When he asked her to dance, I had butterflies and then all sequences after that were so romantic! Their internal lame jokes felt so real - I think real couples goof around a lot with each other without caring about the world and I got those vibes from them. For a change, no one was grumpy sunshine and the book was still so good (hide spoiler)]

I can’t sleep so I just finished too but I’m only on phone right now so will give my thoughts tomorrow morning :)

This was easily 5 stars for me as well. It was so cute and I just loved it. I was in bed just listening to it and not doing anything else which happens rarely for me. Usually I have to do something else while listening to an audiobook but this book had my full attention.
MZ is just my favorite author.

It really was so relatable and I thought did she go through the same? lol
(view spoiler)[The drop off at the airport was so relatable for me too. The crying in the car, then not crying at all on the way home. Difference for me was that when I was home again and got into bed, I had a MELTDOWN haha (hide spoiler)]

Oh yes, so true! I didn't even realize that until I read your spoiler now but I didn't miss the trope at all in this book. This was just so good!

When should we start the next and which one? :D

Agree agree MZ is my favourite author in romance!

Under Locke next? I can start mid-April
