I really didn't like this book. I thought the characters weren't well written, the romance unrealistic, and the world buildings to be lacking. 2.75/5 stars

So I liked this book but I think it was toward the end that I got really into it. The whole mystery of who was who drove me a little crazy. I just wanted to know already and usually with like crime novels I can wait to see what happens unless horrible stuff is going down.

Bringing back the love triangle after we thought we dodged that bullet drove me nuts. I huffed and slammed my book shut after that chapter. I agree with Samantha that the mystery of who was who was annoying and made it so the characters of Rafe and Kaden were not well developed. Although I did not like the ending I will continue to read this series...because dang it I do have to know what will happen.

There were some slow parts, but overall I thought it was pretty good. I was so glad when Rafe came back:) It definitely wasn't the best book, but I will continue reading the series because I need to know what is going to happen!

I enjoyed this book immensely and can't wait for the next book.

I give this like a 3.75 rounded up to a four. The last 150 pages were a lot better for me than the beginning of the book when things started to come together. However I am still confused about the whole Remnant thing and things were really slow paced at times. But I'll be picking up the second book because I'm really intrigued as to what is going to happen next.

What the heck was up with the random Pauline chapter? (65) I guarantee at some point if we keep getting chapters from Pauline in the next book, she is going to see Mikael walking around and ALIVE. Lina goes on about how upset and betrayed she felt that Kayden lied to her and yet...she kinda did the same thing to Pauline. Maybe not with bad intention, but still. Also...I do not trust Gwyneth...she's up to something it feels like.

Finally finished!! I definitely liked this book, but I'm not in love. (my interest REALLY picked up towards the end though, so maybe the next book will be even better!!) I do like Lia's character and I'm excited for her to learn more about her gift. Also about how she was born out of misery? And how she can apparently control tigers?? Lol really hoping we learn more about that in the second book! Not sure how I feel about Rafe and Kaden and all of that.. Can't wait to continue on with the series!!

Done! I think if this one had been shorter I would have really really liked this one. It was good. Not great. Dragged on and on. But I really like the main character and I love that she ended up falling in love with the man she was running away from. Glad I read this :)
