Jayla Keys Marlow[Nicknames?]: Jay, Key
[Age]: 17
[Gender]: Female
[Sexuality]: Straight
[Species]: Lake dragon
[History]: Jayla grew up under the surface of a lake alone. She hatched from an egg there, and so that's where she stayed. She didn't go up to the surface because she never felt she needed to, but the population of fish in the lake went down, and she came up to the surface. Her dragon form was awkward and difficult to use out of the water, so instinct changed her to look like a human girl.
[Family]: N/A
[Pets]: A crab named Cyan
[Relationship status]: Single
[Human Appearance]: Jayla has short brown hair and freckles on her nose and arms. Her eyes are lake blue, and she's a bit short for her age.
[Dragon Appearance]: Jayla is a seafoam blue dragon in this form and has four legs and two wings. Her claws on her legs are webbed in between for easier swimming, and the spikes on her spine are webbed in between as well. She has gills that she can use to breathe underwater. She has some iridescent glow scales that she can make glow when she wants.
[Personality]: Jayla is very curious, and a bit quiet around new people, but loves to learn and is a bit snoopy. She's very stealthy, surprisingly, but is also a little clumsy, and doesn't understand social cues, since she lived by herself mostly.
[Likes]: Fish, berries, plants, water, being alone
[Dislikes]: Thorn bushes, pufferfish, rivers, shallows.
[Name]: Melody Esmeralda Brook[Nicknames?]: Melon, Esme, Esma
[Age]: 16
[Gender]: Female
[Sexuality]: Straight
[History]: Ever since Melody could remember, her parents argued. When she was seven, they decided to divorce and she and her older sister were separated. She became a quieter person over the years and preferred to be alone than with people, unless it was someone she liked.
[Family]: She lives with her mom and younger half-brother most days, and only ever visits her dad and older sister during weekends and holidays.
[Pets]: A cat named Reverie
[Relationship status]: Single
[Appearance]: Melody has shiny black hair up to her waist, emerald green eyes and pale skin. She's a little shorter and underweight than most of her age and has a small scar on the edge of her left cheek from a car accident when she was twelve.
[Personality]: Melody is a really adventurous person, which usually gets her in trouble. She doesn't like to socialize much with people but if someone catches her interest then she will talk for hours. She's very creative and artistic, but also stealthy and cautious at times.
[Likes]: Adventure, sketching, painting, being by herself, berries, mythical creatures
[Dislikes]: Stalkers, stuck-up people, loud noises, secrets
She looks great! I think the plot still stands, doesn'it? Is there anything else we need to do or can we start? I can go first if need be ^^
Jayla stared up at the surface of the water, sighing. The fish population had diminished greatly recently, and she was running out of emergency kelp. She knew she'd have to go up eventually, but was a bit startled it'd be so soon. Slowly, she made her way curiously towards the shore, trying to not seem totally I've-never-been-out-of-water-before and more this-is-really-normal-for-me. She swam her way closer, and then took a deep breath before stepping out of the water.
