So from reading the blurb, this is just a fictionalized account of the Gabby Petito crime. If anyone read this how close is it to real life because besides the fact that the chick on the cover is a brunette, it might not be too far off from the description.

I liked the book until the ending. Even though Simon was a truly evil character who committed a heinous crime, in my opinion what Nina’s parents did was not justified.I can’t imagine how living with the knowledge of their crime and cover up would make their grief any better.
Like 75% similar. Ending was satisfying though, and what I'd call the main difference in their stories.
