Timeless Pages discussion

The way this works is one person will post a book title that starts with the letter A. And then the next person will do one that starts with the letter B. And so on until we get to Z and then we start over at A again. The only twist is they have to be historical books. Which makes it a wee bit harder to think of books.

Oh and I forgot to mention that the words ‘a’ or ‘the’ do not count as the first words of the title.

I've read the top three Civil War books- Johnny Reb, Blow Bugles Blow, and The White Feather-and one frontier book I can't quite recall the title of.. might have been the Spirit of the Eagle? Our library's system had just a few. :/ How many have you?
