I am at about 65% and it is a great story. At first I did not like the traveling symphony but now I (view spoiler)[can not wait to find out what is happening to them! What is the deal with the freaky prophet with all the wives? Is he involved with this? How does it relate to the story of Miranda (who I love!)? (hide spoiler)] It is gripping and hard to put down.

It is interesting the way everyone has viewed this differently. I really liked the first 30 to 50 pages or so. Then when it got into the travelling symphony, I thought it was cool that it was not exactly like other post apocalyptic books. But, then shortly after (view spoiler)[their encounter with the profit and the flashback to before the plague, I started to lose interest (hide spoiler)]. I mean, I thought it was cool that the book was taking a different direction which led to a but of mystery, but I was having problems staying interested.

But, after my reading today, I am starting to get back into it as the connection to the pre-plague timeline and the after plague timeline are starting to become clearer. I have a feeling that (hopefully) it will all come together in the end and make the book as a whole make sense.

It has really come together and has improved with each passing page.

Oh wow... I really loved this book. It did get better and better as it went along. The airport setting was captivating. I loved the idea of the museum. There were so many bittersweet parts and the ending was perfect for me. I cant wait to see what others thought of this book.

One thing about this book for me - and I am not sure if I will describe it very well - is that it felt like two or three different books happening at the same time to me. One of those books was 5 stars. The others are all 3 or 4 stars.

If I was told that this book was actually written by multiple writers, I would believe it!
