I've heard mixed reviews about this book. Some people really seem to love it or think it's really overrated. Not much in between. So, would you recommend?

Haven’t read Cruel Prince either but its something i’ve been wanting to for a while. I’ve personally only heard positives about it, i’d say go for it honestly.
yes yes yes! I just reread tcp and it is one of my favorites of all time. I see a lot of people recommend it for the romance (which, yes, is wonderful,) but I think the best aspects are actually the world building and character development throughout the series. Anyways, it's wonderful in all regards and SO worth it!
100% yes for me. Even tho you have to keep in mind that like booktok shows a very romantic side of the book but I personally don’t think it’s a romance in the first place. And it’s very political but I loved it and recommend it to my friends for years so go for it! <3
Absolutely yes!! It’s one of my all time favorite series.i can’t imagine why anyone wouldn’t love these books
While I thought the series as a whole was way over-hyped, it was still a fun series to read. I didn't think it was the best fantasy/romantasy series out there right now. I would just go into it with an open mind and see how you like it :)
YES YES YES!!!! The Cruel Prince is one of my favorite fantasy books right now. I just read it and I can say that it is definitely a good read. There’s so many cliffhangers and plot twists. It was amazing. AND JURDAN IS SO FREAKING CUTE 🥰
The book is good if you focus on the politics and character development, the romance is a disaster in my opinion, but it’s definitely worth reading!
I liked the dynamic between the main character and her family. But the fae/fairies characters were really horrid, and there's a lot of bullying. But a bit of a spy angle and politics kept the book intriguing. Try reading the first book, and you'll know quickly if you want to continue with the series.
I just read it recently and was so mad at myself for leaving it on my tbr for so long!! I know people either love it or hate it but I genuinely enjoyed it and couldn’t put it down.
