I mean if it's something I really want to read and it has an ugly cover who cares
but in the bookstore I am statistically *pushes up glasses* more likely to pick an illustrated cover (and my favorite cover illustrator is leni kauffman she made covers for some of my favorite books)

OK OK OKKK i judge by the spine first cuz thats what ill see displayed on my bookshelf. im not toooo pick about covers its just those rom-com covers are just not for me.

oh yes, def. 9/10 I will not pick a book with an ugly cover BUT I do sometimes. I'm an e-book reader so if it's ugly, i just change it to something else if I can
