Amethyst stood in the corner of her cell. She didn't eat again and the guards were starting to worry about her. She knew that someone was going to try to get her out of her cell but she wasn't going to budge because she feels like eating is a hassle. Amethyst held her teddy bear close to her chest and sighed. "I won't eat no matter what." She muttered to herself and smiled down at her bear. "At least I'm not so lonely........." Amethyst said softly.
Zaaiel had been recalled to try and get a patient out of her cell to eat. He'd accepted of course, he was here to help people. He nodded to the guards he'd passed he stopped at the door, unlocking it before he entered. He entered and looked around the cell until finally his gaze landed on the girl in the corner of the cell. "Amethyst?" he asked, his voice low and quite monotone. He took up the entire door frame, he actually had to bend a bit to get into the room. He was intimidating, especially with the lack of emotions expressed on his features.
Amethyst flinched a bit bit but didn't answer. It's a mans voice at least, if they brought a female guard in she would definitely not come out. But at least Zaaiel could attempt to get her out. The way he sounded scared her a bit because he sounded mean so she shook her head. "No A-amethyst h-here...........only a teddy bear.............go away now......you can go away.........." Amethyst said really quietly and pushed her teddy bear a bit farther out to try and trick him even though that wasn't going to work because he wasn't a idiot. But Amethyst was certain that he would leave when he saw her bear in the middle of the floor. "GURGLEEEEEEEEEEE." Her stomach growled but she didn't move.
Zaaiel said nothing, just looked at the girl, then to the bear she pushed. He blinked, sighed softly before he walked the rest of the way in, closing the door behind him of course. He went over, crouched down to pick up the bear before he handed it to her. Despite the kinda impassive expression on his face, his eyes spoke more louder. They were soft, kind though held deep depths of sadness. "Amethyst, let's go get something to eat, shall we?" he said softly, less monotone but it still didn't hold too much emotion, it was just how he spoke.
Amethyst felt him come closer and crouched down covering her head. She felt something soft and fuzzy rub her arm and realized that it was her bear. Amethyst quickly grabbed it and turned away from Zaaiel. She hesitated for a second, but then closed her eyes and shook her head when he said that they should go and eat something. His voice wasn't as scary as it was the last time and he sorta sounded like her brother which is the reason why she hesitated.
Zaaiel was a guy that looked terrifying but was honestly like a teddy bear once you get past his rough exterior. He was just depressed and was not someone you wanted to piss off -not that it happened often. He sighed softly, moving back a bit to give her space. "I know you're hungry Amethyst, you need to eat something," he said, the same tone as before, "why don't you want to go?" he asked her. He was getting somewhere at least, from what he heard the guards before him didn't get nearly as far.
"Eat...............hassle..............it's a hassle....." She muttered shaking her head. "I don't wanna eat..........makes me sleepy and has nightmares....g-go away........." Amethyst said shaking. She didn't understand how come she was talking to this guard because she never told the other ones why she didn't want to eat. How come Zaaiel was getting so much information out of her?
Zaaiel stayed in his crouched position, though it killed his legs and back. He was assuming they gave her drugged food to eat, which to him didn't make sense, but he understood the need to give the patients the medication. He would have assumed they would distribute it later instead of combining it with the task of eating. It made people dread the thing they needed to survive. "Amethyst, how about you come with me and I'll get my food, you think you can eat my food?" he asked her, since guards usually didn't take what the patients were given, they got different stuff.
Amethyst slowly stopped shaking and slowly turned around to look at him. "Y-your food?.........w-will it make me sleepy?" She asked a bit curiously. Her curiosity always got the best of her no matter what situation she was in. While waiting for him to answer her she slowly started to analyze Zaaiel. "Y-your eyes.........empty.......why?" Amethyst asked tilting her head a bit and held her bear close to her chest.
Zaaiel shook his head, "my food won't make you sleepy, I promise," he said, if she was lacking sleep though than she would already be tired. He looked at her a bit surprised, course it was only shown in his eyes, his expression in general gave nothing away. "They're not," he said, a bit stiffly as he stood back up, "everything else is," he murmured under his breath, sighing before he held out a hand for her, "come on, food will make you feel better," he said, "and will stop your stomach from growling," he added, giving her a soft smile.
Amethyst tilted her head again not really believing him about the food but slowly was a little convinced. When she saw him start to stand up she started to scoot away from him and covered her face. After a couple minutes of silence she moved her hand away from her face and looked at him to see he was holding out his hand towards her. Amethyst looked at the hand and looked back up at him and slowly took his hand nodding.
Zaaiel waited patiently for her to stop hiding and notice his hand. He just looked at her, his expression could be viewed as unnerving but his gaze was soft and almost caring. He gently wrapped his hand around her smaller one, pulling her gently to her feet. He then murmured something in his walky, since he knew this girl had a fear of other woman, he requested for the female guards to stay out of the guard wing of the asylum for now. Once finished that he released her hand, backing towards the door and opened it, "shall we?"
Amethyst didn't look him in the eyes but instead looked at the ground when he pulled her up. Her ears perked up like a dog when she heard him mutter something into his walkie-talkie and squeezed her teddy bear. Amethyst nodded when he asked her if she was ready to go.((Could you post first?))
Zaaiel nodded, leading her out of the cell, closed the door behind him before guiding her down the hall, side by side with her and towards the guards' wing. The whole time ignoring the looks of shock from the other guards.
((yeah))
((yeah))
Zaaiel carried Amethyst into the cell, after getting a guard there to open if for him. He placed her onto a cell, hoping it was her's and tucked her in under the covers. He looked down at her, sighing softly, wishing he could have done more for her before he straightened up and walked to the door to begin his usual rounds.
"Where's Gryphin?" Skye asked almost pleadingly as she followed Seza into the thankfully empty cell. Then she seemed to realize just how rude that was. "I-I'm sorry! You're a great help and I appreciate it, and I know none of it was your fault, but I want my brother!" She begged desperately, starting to cry again.
Seza entered the cell pulling Skye in after her as the door was closed behind them from a guard. She looked at Skye and gave her a soft smile in understanding, "he'll be here soon," she assured the girl, kissing her head before guiding her over to her bed and motioned for her to sit down. She actually didn't know if he was coming yet, the meetings varied in length but she knew he'd be there as soon as it was over, well not that fast but good enough. She climbed onto the cot beside Skye and hugged her, stroking her back, comforting her until Gryphin came.
Eventually the cell door opened and Gryph came in, having heard what occurred in the cafeteria, knowing Seza would be fine but Skye wouldn't and he could have stopped Janus if he'd been there. He went over and hesitated before wrapping them both into a hug.

Skye sat next to Seza, but only partially seemed to even realize she was there. She leaned against Seza slightly, but her scared blue gaze was fixed on the door. She hardly moved from that position for a long while, just waiting for him. When Gryphin came back she relaxed visibly, and when he moved over to them she curled up against him, hugging him back tightly.
Seza sighed in relief when Gryphin arrived but knew that it won't be long before she was confined for a bit until they viewed her as 'safe' or Gryphin convinced them to let her out or whatever. It wasn't the first time but she didn't understand what she did wrong, well, she knew murder was bad, but... Janus was only protecting her, her and Skye it seemed now. It made her happy to know Janus was okay with Skye though.
Gryphin hugged both of his girls, still a bit tense at first with the touching but soon relaxed and closed his eyes. He stroked Skye's back and felt Seza slid out of the embrace to allow him to concentrate on comforting Skye. He was kinda glad Janus had taken care of that douche, because he wasn't sure.. that if he had been there he would might have been the one to kill him.

((Just go ahead lol))
Skye curled up tightly against him, whimpering slightly. She struggled to steady her breathing from the still-panicky, gasping breaths. Closing her eyes, she tried to force herself to forget about what had happened in the lunchroom. She really did try, but all that happened was she kept remembering what had happened to her before she got here. Her grip on Gryphin only tightened, "Please don't leave me." She begged, looking up at him.

Seza sat on the edge of her cot, giving them their space as she undid her braid, untying it and soon began brushing her fingers through her hair to tug out the knots in them.
Gryphin noticed her erratic breathing, stroking her back as he attempted to comfort her, "just breath deeply," he murmured lowly, softly, "listen to the beat of my heart," he urged knowing the panic attacks or anything of the sort were not good. He didn't reply to her begging, he could promise he'd always be for her, but leaving her... it depended what she meant. His job required for him to leave for bits of time like what just happened, he had to make sure they were safe from now on, away from people.. He closed his eyes, not saying a word and just tightened his grip around her in response.

Skye forced herself to obey, sucking in a deep, shuddering breath. She let it out slowly, though it hitched in her chest a bit. As she concentrated on that she closed her eyes and opened her ears, following his direction. One. Two. One. Two. She counted off in her head in time with his heartbeat, slowly easing out a breath. If she still hadn't been scared she probably would have been hurt by him completely ignoring what she said, but right now she wasn't thinking about it.
Gryphin stroked her back as she did this, listening to her carefully, and relaxed even more when he knew she wasn't going to pass out or anything. "That's it," he murmured softly, nodding and opened his eyes, looking at her and kissed her forehead though mentally reminding himself that this was his sister and to will himself not to flinch away.
Seza was still running her hand through her hair, murmuring to herself, well what it seemed like, but really she was conversing with Janus, her childhood friend.

"I missed you." Skye said in a small voice, almost seeming afraid that he was going to just reject it and ignore it. When he kissed her forehead she opened her eyes, looking up at him though she didn't move away. In her own experiences physical contact had always been negative, so now she craved the gentle, reassuring touch that her brother and even Seza had. It was so sharply different from what she was used to it hardly reminded her of the bad.
Gryphin smiled at her softly, "hopefully you'll never need to miss me again," he replied to her, his voice as low and gentle as usual. He gave her a gently squeezed hug once more before he released her and stood back since he was about to fall over at the awkward angle he'd been leaning at. He looked over at Seza to see her struggling with her braid. He shifted over, swiftly but gently moving her hands out of his way and began braiding it after he separated the three parts. He was usually helping her braid, he'd done it at the ring with some of the girls there, he'd braided Skye's hair when she was younger, before she was taken.
Skye reluctantly released him, huddling up on the bed. She sat on her knees, leaning against the wall as she watched them absently. Her own hair was horribly tangled because of her terrified aversion to hair brushing. Biting her lip, she leaned her head back against the wall behind her, pulling her knees up to her chest and closing her eyes.
Seza smiled at Gryphin thankfully, knowing she was horrible at doing her own hair, but she could braid Gryph's hair, that was not saying much since his was just long enough to get some but not long enough to make it work. She closed her eyes then and let him braid her hair, feeling calmed. She loved the sensation of someone playing with her hair, it made her feel cared for. Once he finished he glanced over at Skye, frowning slightly, "Skye," he murmured lowly, ".. do you want your hair done...?" he asked slowly, unsure how she'd react to it and kept where he was closer to Seza.
Seza opened her eyes and turned to look at Skye, "I can do it if you want?!" she asked excitedly.
Seza opened her eyes and turned to look at Skye, "I can do it if you want?!" she asked excitedly.
Startled at someone addressing her, Skye jumped, her eyes opening and landing on him. It took her a moment to process what he said and then she whimpered slightly, cringing backwards. She'd always liked it when Gryphin had played with her hair, and it bothered her that another thing was completely and utterly ruined for her because of Him. "I... I just... He... He always brushed my hair before..." She shuddered, biting her lip and looking down at her hands. She hated how everything always seemed to end in a pity party, she just couldn't help it.
Seza didn't need her to continue nor did Gryphin who looked away from her, feeling insanely guilty once again. He doubted he would ever get over that, not as long as his sister suffered due to it. Seza scooted over to Skye, slowly though and then wrapped her arms around Skye, hugging her gently, ready to move if it freaked her out too much, "I understand," she assured, "you'll have to have a shower or something though," she informed her, giggling as she smiled at her, "it's a bit messy, though you make it cute."
Watching Seza with her bright blue eyes, Skye sighed softly at the hug, slowly but surely starting to relax. She ducked her head down, leaning slightly into Seza and blushing at the compliment. "Thanks." She said softly, then lifted her head to look at Gryphin. She didn't show any signs of wanting to move away from Seza but she frowned at her brother, seeing the guilt on his face. "Its not your fault." She said softly, "You did everything you could to protect me. And you weren't the one to do it."
Seza smiled happily when she didn't want to move away and delved fully into the hug with no hesitation or caution. She closed her eyes after a while and giggled, "no problem," she said, though confused since she was only being honest.
Gryphin looked at her, and gave her a weary smile after her words but it still felt the guilt, it wasn't a switch where he could turn off. He'd always feel guilty, even if it was indirectly. She was here wasn't she? Not living a good life with maybe a good family who'd managed to save her or something. Instead she was here, locked up and damaged further than he could comprehend.

It was easy to tell by the look on his face that Gryphin didn't believe her. Frowning and being very careful to avoid moving out of Seza's hug, she reached out and caught his hand, pulling him onto the bed. Still happily being hugged by Seza, she simultaneously hugged him tightly. "Stop it." She told him softly, "It's not your fault. You treated me well when no one else did, and you did everything you could to protect me. Who knows what I would have done if I didn't have you as my rock?" She teased gently.
Seza opened her eyes when she felt Skye shift and turned her head to look at Gryphin, moving her arms once Skye pulled him over and basically onto the bed. She included him into her hug too though, smiling and fell silent as Skye talked to him.
Gryphin stumbled over and then onto the bed. He was very tense at first, nearly flinched away but he didn't luckily and looked down as she lectured him. He would try and change how his mind has wrapped around this situation but it was going to be hard, and he knew he'd always feel a tinge of guilt. He hugged Skye, pulling her close to kiss her head before wrapping an arm around Seza to hug them both tightly.

Skye cuddled up between both of them, sighing softly. "I love you." She promised, lightly kissing his cheek. "I... I know you can't just change your emotions, but I want you to try and remember that it's not your fault." She said slowly, curling up against him. To make sure Seza still knew that she was wanted Skye reached out and grabbed her hand, squeezing tightly.
Gryphin smiled a bit brighter at this looking at her with a kind expression, "I love you too sister," he murmured softly and nodded, he'd try, try to remember for her. He shifted to sit more comfortably on the small cot, holding his sister. Seza moved a bit back, looking at them and smiled. They were all like a family now, it made her happy. She intertwined her fingers with Skye's when she took her hand and kissed both of their cheeks.
Skye gave a soft sigh of contentment, relaxing further against Gryphin and closing her eyes. "I'm glad I found you. Even by accident." She murmured sleepily. Fighting back a yawn, she tightened her grip on Seza's fingers. "Or maybe you found me?" She mused absently.
Gryphin kissed her head and looked at Seza who gave him a smile and soon shifted to lay in partly both of their laps, her head resting beside Skye's on Gryphin's chest. Seza giggled softly, "you guys found each other," she stated, "it's fate," she murmured and closed her eyes, smiling happily.
Skye had never been someone who believed in 'fate' or things happening for a reason, but she found herself giving a small smile over to Seza. "Never know. Maybe it was." She shrugged, opening her eyes to look down at Seza, though she didn't move away from Gryphin. "No matter how, I'm still glad it happened." She said firmly.
Seza giggled softly but opened her eyes, tilting her head to look at Skye and gave her a beaming smile, "it was," she said firmly, "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right?" she said sweetly. She giggled and nodded, "I am too, Gryph as well," she said, voicing for him as well. He'd already talked more than he usually did today.
Gryphin smiled down at his two girls, gently hugging them close. He was glad to have them in his life, but he was not looking forward to having to head to his own room since he wasn't allowed sleeping in the same room.
Gryphin smiled down at his two girls, gently hugging them close. He was glad to have them in his life, but he was not looking forward to having to head to his own room since he wasn't allowed sleeping in the same room.
Skye smiled, closing her eyes again. For the first time in a long while she was content, and even around other people! She was completely surprised that she could be this happy again. But she also knew she'd be eternally grateful that she'd found them. She fought back another yawn, curling up happily in between them.
Seza noticed her eyes slipping closed and smiled before she closed her own eyes, a similar yawn escaping her lips and snuggled closed to Gryphin. She felt heavy, with all the excitement from today, especially with Janus' exhaustion on top of her own as well. It wasn't long before Seza was sleeping along side Skye, against Gryphin. Gryphin knew he'd wait until they were both sleeping before he would leave after making sure they didn't wake.
Skye was smart, she figured that Gryphin wouldn't be allowed to stay here overnight. She looked at him, shoving down the fear she felt rising at the thought of him leaving. "Just come back tomorrow, alright?" She whispered, kissing his cheek lightly before sighing and giving in to her sleepiness, reluctantly releasing him to curl up more against Seza.
Gryphin gave her a soft smile, "I promise I will be, I have to look after Seza, it's my job," he murmured lowly, knowing it wasn't too comforting but it meant he would be here. He kissed her forehead and held his two girls in his arms. He should get them to meet the woman who took him in after getting out of the ring, he knew she'd like them. After they'd have fallen asleep he shifted carefully off the bed and laid them down together, covering them with the blanket. Kissing both of their foreheads he left the room as quietly as he could.
Yawning again, Skye's form rolled over and glanced at the clock on the wall. It was early, and she had nothing to do all day. She looked down at Seza. Nikki knew that Skye was too quiet to do anything, but she also knew that Skye wanted to. Not that she could blame her. Seza was sweet and adorable. Plus, Seza knew about Skye's DID. This could work. Nikki carefully detangled herself from Seza, sitting up and looking down at her. She smiled, leaning down and lightly kissing Seza's forehead.
