Percy Jackson RP group discussion

(This is pretty self explanatory)

Jackson sat down at Hades cabin table, rings under his eyes.

Emory looked around for Jackson. When she saw him, she sat by him with a smile on her face that soon left when she saw the bags under his eyes.

"Did you sleep last night?" Was the first thing Emory said.

“Three hours!” Jackson said. “That’s good right?” He asked. He’s gotten back to his cabin and immediately fell asleep, but his dream was so painful he woke himself up and forced himself not to go back to sleep.

Emory went silent, shaking her head.

"Not even close."

“I swear I tried.” Jackson said. “It’s just, things happened.”

Emory's face softened as she gently pat Jackson's back.

"I know, you don't have to apologize. I mean, you did try, that's what counts."

Jackson sighed. “I truly loathe being a demigod.” He said, before grabbing a few grapes and strawberries as his breakfast.

"I know, I know." Emory wasn't all that hungry so they didn't grab anything to eat just yet.

Jackson popped a grape in his mouth. “How was your sleep?” He asked.

"It was alright, I guess. I got woken up a few times since some people wouldn't go to sleep, but it was fine." Emory had brought the book Jackson gave them the night before, and was at a significantly farther position than last time.

“You look like you’re throughly enjoying the book.” Jackson said with a grin.

Emory laughed.

"Yeah, I am. It's really good." They smiled.

“It’s literally one of my favorite books of all time.” Jackson said.

"I figured," Emory chuckled.

Jackson ate another grape.

"Is that all you're going to eat?" Emory asked in a concerned tone.

“Yeah, that’s usually all I eat.” Jackson said, popping a grape in his mouth.

"Kein Wunder, dass du so dünn bist," Emory muttered with a slight frown.

(No wonder you're so thin.)

"Are you sure you're only going to eat that?"

Jackson nodded. “I don’t really eat much.” He said. “I’m used to not eating much.”

Emory nodded but still looked concerned.

"Alright, I get that. So, do you have any plans for what you're going to do, today?"

“I’m going to stop by the archery range but no, nothing other than that.” Jackson said. “Do you have any plans?”

Emory shook her head.

"Not really. For the most part, I was going to try and see if I could get another alliance with the Athena Cabin for the next Capture the Flag game, but other than that, I was just going to keep reading the books you gave me," they chuckled.

Jackson smiled. “Don’t ask me how I found this out, but apparently the author of Hochland-Horror made a 1,047 page murder mystery book!” He said. “And I also found out that they’re selling it at the camp store, since it was made by one of my older half-siblings!”

Emory's eyes lit up.

"You mean to tell me that one of your older siblings WROTE Hochland-Horror??" She asked excitedly.

“If any of the demigods were to do it they’d be from my cabin.” He gave her a toothy smile. “When I was 11 this guys was the head counselor of my cabin. I sent him a letter asking from a free signed copy of his 1,047 page book and he said sure! It’s coming by hellhound pup sometime this week!”

"Luuuckyy," Emory chuckled. "So I guess you know him pretty well?"

“Yeah! He was one of my closest friends before he left camp!” Jackson said with a smile.

Emory gave Jackson a wide grin when they heard that they were good friends.

"Really?" She asked excitedly.

“He even let me give him a makeover. Truth or dare with hades cabin is pretty wild.” Jackson grinned.

((An itty bitty part of me may or may not be slightly shipping them 😔 if you don't want that then that's ok ^^, also I kinda forgot why kinda outfit you said Jackson usually wears so I found some random casual outfit and used it instead lol :3))

( 😦 you read my mind, literally was just shipping them in my head. They’re kind of like percybeth but Jackson slightly smarter than Percy lol.

Also that’s fine! His outfit doesn’t really matter anyway :) )

Emory laughed.

"You should see the Hermes Cabin on board game night," they joked.

“Hades cabin truth or dare ends in infirmary visits. Once one of my sisters hurt herself during truth or dare because she was dared to jump off the roof!” Jackson said.

"Is that how you broke your nose?" Emory asked, now even more concerned. "Don't get me wrong, Hermes game nights usually end in screaming or someone getting punched, but jumping off a roof??"

“Someone was dared to whack the next person they saw with a book. I was the unlucky person.” Jackson said.

Emory winced, holding her hands together.

"How long ago was that??"

“10 months ago.” Jackson said, toothily grinning at her.

Her eyes widened and she covered her mouth with her hands.

"And that still hurts??" They asked worriedly.

“I told you it’s just super broken!” Jackson said, sounding unconcerned.

(Why can I picture these two as a YouTube short and Jackson just saying: “I told you it’s just ✨sUpEr BrOkEn✨” and then giving her the most idiotic grin ever?)

Emory pursed her lips, uncovering her mouth.

Jackson sighed. “Do you want me to go to the infirmary?”

Emory nodded wordlessly.

“Fine.” Jackson said. “I’ll do it before I go to the archery range.”

"Good. I can't believe you've had a broken nose for almost a year."

“It’s not that big of a deal.” Jackson said, taking I bite out of a strawberry. He’d only eaten 2 or 3 grapes and one bite of a strawberry and he was starting to get full.

"It is a big deal!" Emory huffed, crossing her arms. "You broke your nose!! Why didn't you go to the infirmary right when it happened??"
