Who else agrees with me?
Sophie and Moon can both read minds, and are bombarded by thoughts of people around them.
Even when they go to a place where there are a lot of special people, (the Lost Cities and Jade Mountain: the Lost Cities because there are elves, Jade Mountain because Dragonets of Destiny and stuff), they still stand out.
They meet a friend who talks a lot, and maybe too much, (Jensi and Kinkajou), at Foxfire for Sophie and Jade Mountain for Moon.
One of the first 'special people' they meet is a noble or has parents in the nobility: Winter for Moon and Fitz for Sophie. That noble boy/dragon has a special connection with humans: Fitz searched for Sophie in the human world and knows some English, and Winter has a human he's studying and refuses to eat.
Then they meet someone who has Mommy issues, Qibli and Keefe, who hide behind humor, but are still pretty smart. Qibli is in love with Moon and Keefe is in love with Sophie.
Both Sophie and Moon are involved with and help stop something to do with a fire, but have to face the consequences. (Sophie bottled Everblaze, and was faced with banishment, and because Moon tried to stop everyone from entering the history cave as it was about to explode, the other people of her winglet find out about her secret powers.
Oh, also, they often come across someone grumpy who they have to meet a lot. Carnelian for Moon (they share a sleeping cave) and Biana (because she's Fitz's sister) for Sophie.
See how alike they are?
Mentioned: Moon Rising by Tui T. Sutherland.

YES but I feel Moon is more likable than Sophie, because Moon is more relatable.
One more similarity is that they both have powers their scared of. Moon doesn't want anybody to find out about her prophecy and mind-reading, and Sophie tries to hide her other 4 abilities.
And I also agree that Qibli and Keefe are practically the same person.

YEAH THAT'S TRUE!
I'm going to say that I didn't actually liked Sophie but Moon was more likeable and you can empathize with her.
