Okay. Now that we changed it to 15 chapters, I got issues. Why is the mom built the way she is?! like who the fuck starts painting a mural on the wall of a man she met YESTERDAY. The real issue is who moves in with him.

I was gonna hate on Bri for the 5 stars so far but I have to agree.. the book is so cute and the amount of effort he puts is cute af. Also, the mom is unhinged and Trauma is crazy cuz the way this girl talks about her mom like it’s all good..

The delulu this girl got with her unhinged (def got me talking health issues) mother. Im like girl love yourself

Note that Neil is in the first book of the series and he’s a very very different guy so far in this one. It makes me skeptical of him.

Also that Benny is in the second book and it’s super cute to see him happy because he had it rough in book 2.

Finished this on Saturday! LOVED it wouldnt do a full 5 stars because the fmc really pissed me off a few time with her family relationships also the healing journey i get all that but seriously 6 months no contact AND SHE ALMOST WALKED AWAY WITHOUT SAYING HOW SHE FELT… i was tearing my hair out at this point. Such a cute read tho 💖

@gabby it was sooooooo good. I gave it a 4.75 because I don’t like how it ended. However if another book comes out about this couple then I’ll be satisfied.
