Not seeing a lot of hilarity in the "comedy" list, but I will nominateJacques the Fatalist,
because I've already read most of it, and DO want to finish (if it is written up above..)
For Travel, I pick
Monkey: The Journey to the West
because all my other book buddies won't read an abridgement, but I will, and I have the e-book, and so there.
I've read that Waley translation/adaptation/abridgement of Monkey and thought it was excellent!
