Play Book Tag discussion

This novel has been in a basket under my bed for several years and I am so glad that I finally picked it up. I loved The Woman in White and I was not sure that I would love this one as much, but I was not disappointed. This charming detective novel is set in England in the 19th century and is the story of a gem brought from India to England and then stolen. It is tole through the perspective of different characters and built to a satisfying conclusion. I highly recommend it.

I read it about a million years ago and it makes me feel good today that I know it is still worthwhile. Thanks for posting. Maybe I will go back and reread it. Good timing for me to get this post. Thanks. peace, janz
