After winning a Tony Award for Frank Langella's "Dracula," he left Broadway for Cape Cod. From Woods Hole to Provincetown, Edward Gorey wrote, designed, and directed a scintillating series of "entertainments" starring local actors and his own troupe of handmade puppets--abetted by his friend, neighbor, and producer Carol Verburg.
