Glad you liked it Sue-I quite enjoyed it.
Amina al-Sirafi is a middle-aged retired pirate. She left her ship, crew and pirate life behind 10 years ago to live a peaceful, quite life with her new child.
But an opportunity arrives that Amina can't resist. She's asked to retrieve a young girl who was either kidnapped or ran away (depending on who you ask). In the course of finding the girl, Amina restores her original crew, repairs her ship and sets out on adventures reminiscent of Sinbad.
I loved the humor woven throughout.
