I'm so sorry this is probably going to be confusing, but I will try my best to explain this, it gets easier the more you make
- core classes get 3 hours, electives get 2 and extra curricular get 1
- advanced classes get an extra hour
- when a student chooses their career path some classes may then become core (as there's no canon for this just whichever classes sound right for the career works) I have another student going for curse breaker and she has ancient runes, ancient studies and arithmancy all bumped up to core classes instead of electives, I could see field studies and maybe alchemy also being considered core for curse breakers
- slytherin dueling club schedule is one mandatory practice and two optional, 7-9pm on tuesday thursday and sunday. the ravenclaws have the same schedule while gryffindor and hufflepuff have monday wednesday and saturday

↢ Dark Arts [5 hours] (this really just depends on how interested the student is since it's a very select class)
↢ Potions (advanced) [4 hours]
↢ Magical Theory [3 hours]
↢ Transfiguration (advanced) [4 hours]
↢ Xylomancy [2 hours]
↢ Dueling Club [6 hours] (if she went to all practices)
↢ Apparition [1 hour]
↢ Ancient Studies [2 or 3 hours] (it depends on if you want it to be a core class or an elective)

↢ Astronomy [2 hours]

I would also add Defense Against the Dark Arts since it's a core class and would be especially useful for curse breaking, so 3 hours for that.

which leaves you with 35 hours of classes if you did 3 hours of ancient studies and alchemy plus 3 for DADA, then however many for dueling club
