Tbh guys I think it’s over-hyped. 3.5 stars for me

yea, the plot is very sjm of holly black
but jurdan is literally what enemies to lovers stand for

In my opinion it felt more like enemies to all of a sudden we love each other 🫣

I loved it it was such a great book

I loved this book. I can’t wait to read the second one.

Is anyone planning on rereading it? I put a hold on a library copy, but I'll prob prioritize other BOTMS, since I've already read it. I did really enjoy it tho, and am willing to read it again.

As someone who’s read the entire series, *personally* I find the next books to be more entertaining and fast paced. I enjoyed the first one, but it took some adjusting.

Yeah, I preferred the other two as well.

I'm not the biggest fan of the romance, tbh. It's a bit too problematic. The politics and plot twists tho...

The second and third was SO much better

I did take some time to get into the first one though but I am glad I did read it.
