I too had avoided it-until pushed and ended up loving it. I am now #1 on the library wait list for #2. Lesson learned, that hype is sometimes well deserved.

Everyone seems to like it! I was on the waitlist for it in March or April, and let it go when I needed to make room for something else. We only get 10 digital hold spots. Now the wait list is up to 16 weeks. I’m tempted to buy it on the Audible sale (about $10). I already bought The Women and put in half price preorders for two authors I love, but I have a couple more days. She has other older books that I might look at too.Other popular books on sale are Fourth Wing and Iron Flame ($3-4) and all the Frieda McFadden books.

I’m so sorry, it’s terribly unfair. It’s not like they have to ship anything , it’s all digital! I’ll boycott them. Starting next week.🙄 sorry!
Aaaanddd... I was delightfully surprised and enjoyed it so much, I pretty nearly couldn't put it down (work & kids though... couldn't live without yet sometimes!). I love these characters and have admit my penchant for grumpy x sunshine. Well, I guess she's not grumpy as much as lacking social skill but you know, she's actually all warm and all deep inside. It's a magical tale of chasing after mythical creatures and stories and ended up being in one after all. It is funny and warm and just absolutely gorgeous! Highly recommended!
