One of the best books on publishing is APE: Author, Publisher, Entrepreneur. How to Publish a Book

APE was one of the best books I ever read. Another good source is to read a book about reviewers. There are a few of them on Amazon. It tells you how to ask people for reviews, dealing the sub culture of us against them, and just the do's and don't of working with bloggers. I'll check and see if I can find the name, but there are a few of them.

I was asked to write reviews on the both. They were illuminating. It connected the dots on the whole review thing for me. I wish I had read it before I started looking for reviews. It would have saved me a lot of grief.
