Addicted to YA discussion

so i started this series because i LOVED kingdom of the wicked and i wanted to read more from this author. i read stalking jack the ripper and it was ok, but i kept waiting for it to pick up (it didn't help that i guessed the murderer's identity by page 50). i started hunting prince dracula 2-3 days ago, and i just can't get into it. if you've read this series, pls convince me to keep reading! does it get better?

I found the ending to hunting prince dracula pretty insane and I enjoyed the book quite a lot since I like the characters and plot but I have only read the first two books so not sure about the rest. Hoping to read the third soon!

i'm around page 50! it started off pretty slow (other than the train scene) so that might be why i'm so uninterested, but if the ending is insane, i might keep reading. i love endings that have me staring at the wall in disbelief haha

It definitely had that ending for me! And now that I think of it I also had to read the beginning like 4 times before I committed to reading the whole thing because I got uninterested and kept putting it down for months at a time. So I would try to read more. I think it is worth it!!

definitely gets better, book 3 and 4 are in my top 10 books of all time!

ooh wow, ok i'm def continuing with the series! i'm excited for HPD to pick up, it's super slow rn but it's also just the beginning.

it's picking up! i'm at the halfway mark but i had to stop reading for a bit to finish a library book that needed to be returned. i have a theory on who the killer is and if i'm right, i think it'd be a really great twist

i finished it and my theory was right :/
it was slightly better than SJtR so i gave it like 3.25 stars (idk if you can find my review but i wrote one!). i'm a little disappointed by the murderer's motive tho, it wasn't the kind of twist i was hoping for

i'm still living for audrey rose and thomas, they're so cuteeee!!!

i'm starting escaping from houdini, i heard it's better than HPD so i'm excited :)
