This one really solidified the formula of the series for me... was alot of fun, from what I remember...

This is the last one I read before we started Buddy Reading... back in February...

I finished this yesterday and I liked it, probably a little better than the first I think because I had an idea of what to expect this time? (view spoiler)[I don't get why the cover of the first book has ears but she didn't get the ears until this book? These are fun, quick books to listen to and this one had dragons so who can complain about that? (hide spoiler)]

I think it was for theming and to catch the eye of possible book buyers... the ebooks/audiobooks came long after the story progressed on Royal Road...

I agree, tho... also, book covers are generally riddled with inaccuracies, sadly....

Finally getting back to this is great... I'd have read all 5 of these months ago, if not for the BR with Choko in March where I re-read book 1, after reading books 1 in November and 2 in February...

I've also read Love Crafted (loved it), and Stray Cat Strut 1 (it was alright) and Sporemageddon (fun / interesting)...

Still need to try Fluff: A Wholesome LitRPG and Dead Tired 1...

Waiting for The Agartha Loop: Book 1 and Lever Action to get audio someday, hopefully, before trying...

Agartha Loop is actually coming to audio late September... Dead Tired 2 and Sporemageddon 3 have been the other 2024 releases... the author has so many active serials on Royal Road, that it's been awhile since some have generated enough content for another audiobook/ebook release...

There are 5 Cinnamon Buns and the story is unfinished...
Stray Cat Strut also has 5 books, but might be complete...
Fluff has 2...

Other stuff only has 1... Love Crafted is a complete story, not sure about Lever Action...

It's a reddit snippet of people making fun of men writing women... I don't know if anyone has ever written anything that bad without it being a parody... but probably close?... male gaze is a thing, after all...

I have seen stuff bad but the way that passage ends is the no way part lol

Breasted boobily is the memorable part that makes it easy to internet search and repost... I forget about the titting down the stairs...

I read this a few weeks ago... I remember enjoying it... I liked the new character, though I swear (view spoiler)[she has the hots for Broccoli. Every time Broccoli brought up her future husband and white picket fence, the poor girl seemed to wilt... The trio makes for a real heartwarming group of friends though. I loved the arena subplot--seeing Broccoli flatten those opponents while telling them they were "not very nice!" was pretty funny... Dragon dating... not-kidnapping... pretty fun diversion. The innuendo in this book is so funny! I keep finding quotes I laughed at but have moved on and didn't note them. I find it adorable that Cinnamon Bun is so naive she doesn't seem to get it that Awen has a crush on her, even when Moon Moon seemed to imply so.

I am currently in Ch. 101 and Cinnamon's new classes offered are so funny- (view spoiler)[Cinnamon Nun, Buns of Steel, Cinnamon Burn, Play Bunny and Cinnamon Bun Bun. (hide spoiler)] I think she should wait, but of course she doesn't think things through.

LOL Thank you for typing out the classes, Rachel! I think I only get about 1/3 of the innuendo, but the bits I do are pretty funny... I might get more if I were eye-reading but a lot of innuendo goes over my head in general, which might be why I am so happy when I do get it...

Like when I had to explain the Beaver Cleaver in BR 3-4...

Then again... it took me 3 books to realize the Wand of Cure Hysteria was a vibrator... it explained so many weird side-eyes in books 1-2...

Yeah, I didn't get that connection either. I think that I would miss most of the innuendo if I was listening to audio, but I have actually been reading this on Royal Road.
