Samir Khaled one of the most hilarious and emotionally riveting love stories I have ever read.I enjoyed reading One Day... it was great until emma died ......I was quite disappointed..each one Emma and Dexter got their own vision and perception, but the question is it nobel to supress your feeling?

Gerd A love story, really?
All they did throughout the book is cheat on their lovers.
Emma goes for a married man she despises at first.
Dex even goes as far as hurting the woman that loves him by entering into a marriage with her, knowing full well that it wouldn't, couldn't work out because he had no interest in being married to her to begin with...
Later Emma, cheats on a man who loves her and drops him the first chance she gets because Dex enters back into her life...
Really, there isn't a lot of love, not romantic love, going around in that story - at least where the two main characters are concerned.

However, to the question at hand:
Is it noble to suppress your feelings?
That, I say depends on what you feel and for whom, and under what circumstances.

In the case of Em & Dex, I think they could have cut through the chase and spared others a lot of hurt. Not that I think that either of them was able to make a commitment to another person above their own direct selfish needs - but at least that way none would have got hurt that didn't deserve it.

No, I really don't like them. :)
