Oops...sorry being new didn't know that...Then I think one of the new upcoming authors there are many. But, being an upcoming author myself....I don't think it would be fair of me to suggest their names as some of them are good friends and it wouldn't be fair to suggest just one person's name.
I second The abyss because the blurb looks interesting and rather unusual . I tried to attach the book link but it opens to a different book .
Thank you. Nominations are closed.

Gorab, no one is voting. I think you need to send the poll link in a newsletter to evoke better response.
Did that already after creating the polls. Haven't received the message to self, so not sure if it is just getting delayed or failed? I will trigger another one tomorrow if no message is received by then.

Looks like either The Abyss or The Covenant of Water is going to win. I went through the reviews of The Abyss. It looks like an interesting book as well. A win win situation for me whichever book wins.
Dear Moderators , may I know when nominations for the November- December BOTM will be put up ? The last two BOTM selected were tomes , which I am very wary of . Anyway, even those members who had voted for them didn't participate in the discussion with the exception of Austin . Hope the next polls yield better results ... non tomes 🤔 .
Savita, I would have tackled the whole book had others joined. I read about 50-60 sample pages online and wanted to buy the book. But seeing the lack of interest from others, I decided not to buy. Moreover, I got busy with my departure to the US for my Master's. I decided to let go of the book. Personally, I prefer a small to medium sized book for BOTM. Unless it's a tome I am very interested in reading - The Brothers Karamazov, Lavransdatter, Gora etc.
@ Austin Yes , no one else showed any interest in those tomes . Congratulations for getting a Master's seat in the US . It'll be a great experience ! Best wishes !
