Play Book Tag discussion

This book came to my attention as a group read on Goodreads and since it fit with other challenges and looked interesting, I decided to give it a try. It's a good debut and I may well read more books by Johnson. I thought she did a stellar job of portraying a boy with Asperger's plus his mother, et al, through the eyes of a young woman hired to assist Frank's mother for other reasons. (I don't care if they are putting everything on the spectrum, I'm quite sure that if this was before that inane amalgamation of umbrella diagnoses that would have been his diagnosis for many good reasons.) The writing is quite good, but overall I personally liked this and didn't love it, but I can see why it's 3.89, because if it had been my type of story this would have been 4 or 5 stars due to strong writing.
