Hello All, I'm looking for a 3-5 alpha readers for a new Emma variation I've been working on. Currently, I'm around 56K and know that I have quite a bit of fleshing out, editing, etc. I'd like to get some feedback during this early stage. I don't even have a blurb to share! The novel is focused on Harriet Smith, rather than Emma. As is my wont, I showcase Jewish protagonists in the story. You'll not be surprised then by the title: "The Jews of Donwell Abbey.

This is a squeaky-clean read, no sex, no violence. I tend to write Austen's characters with actors in mind. I've based this on the 1996 movie with Kate Beckinsale, Mark Strong, and Samantha Morton.

Hi Liz, thanks for asking! I'm looking for people to read this first, rough draft. I'm looking for readers to help me identify major problems, such as flow, structure, and gaps in the story line. At what point do you feel like closing it and saying, "I'm done!"
