Play Book Tag discussion

Behind Closed Doors is one of the oldest books on my TBR. I can't believe I passed it over so many times because I truly enjoyed it. It features perfect couple, Jack and Grace Angel. He's a rich, handsome and successful attorney and Grace stays home in their perfect mansion. She has a seventeen year old sister with Down's Syndrome who she hopes will soon be able to live with her. It's told through alternating Past and Present timelines from Grace’s POV.

I can't say much about the storyline because I don't want to provide any spoilers. I will say Jack is one of the most vile psychopaths I've ever met in fiction.

One of the things I really liked was the way the author wrote a character with Down's Syndrome. Millie was a wonderful envisioned and realistic character.

Paris has managed to write a book that is both plot and character based. It was provocative, riveting, and had a totally satisfying ending. I was hooked from the first page. If you like psychological mysteries and haven't read this yet, pick give it a look.
