Play Book Tag discussion

This book felt a bit odd to me. I enjoyed about half of it. The main reason is that every other chapter consists of a letter written by one of the two main characters. These letters often delve into philosophical topics and perspectives that I found dull. However, the story itself was somewhat more engaging. I struggled to distinguish between Alice and Eileen, frequently confusing their backgrounds and families. They seemed too similar to me. Despite that, I still cared about them and found myself rooting for their relationships (perhaps more for Eileen's than Alice's). I appreciated the climax—their relationship wasn't very stable, with ups and downs that made them feel more real. The ending didn't disappoint me either.
