Sign up to the Challenge at the top of the Group Home Page.

This quarter the vote was strongly in favour of a mystery read relating to horses. Place your book suggestions here.
Any mystery will do - a spooky story, a racing crime thriller, a western with stolen gold, a missing pony - let's see what gems everyone can produce.

You will be asked which shelf the books to read are on. If you say horse and you do not have a horse bookshelf, Goodreads will put one in to your personal list of shelves.
When you complete a read you have placed on that shelf, Goodreads sees the progress.

Now the challenge registers that you have read some of the books.

Authors are allowed to mention their own suitable books, as they could read their own books for this challenge.
Series are allowed too.
Have fun!

Sometimes the parentage of the horse is a mystery. The second and third book I am showing are the same book, because it was republished with a different title than the original.

This looks like an ideal read for the mystery topic! Thanks for letting us know. I guess you are now ahead of the posse with your Challenge reading.

Horse thief This is a popular title, it turns out. The one I read is a YA book by Hugh Galt. No cover or author photo available. I might read it again if I can find it...

I'm reading a thrilling time travel adventure, back to the land of the Mongols on the Asian steppe. They were the world's best light horsemen archers at the time. There is a mystery or two!

I've added a suspense story set in Texas ranching country. Smashing cover. There is quite a lot of shooting and danger in this one so it's a read for adults.

I am trying to comment on your 10/18 post. Jody Jaffe will have a new book coming out soon, I read the draft of it and loved it!
