That's all I got tonight.

Morning all. The first one that jumps out at me is I Love Green Ghosts and I Can Not Lie. I have always thought Slimer was the best ghost besides Stay Puft and Mini Stay Pufts.

I was thinking of:
Ecto-1
Let's get slimed one more time.
They ain't afraid of no ghost.

Some of these might be a tad long, however. I'm really fine with anything.

Library Ghost:

The team is called to the library to investigate a ghost sighting. Wandering through the library, you notice symmetrical book stacking, ectoplasmic residue on card catalog drawers, and bookshelves falling over. Knowing you are getting close, your team continues exploring the library. As you round the corner, you see a female apparition. She is an older woman wearing a purple dress. She is reading a book and obviously thinks you guys are too loud. She shushes you. You attempt to talk to her and she scares your team away. Your team needs a plan to capture her.

Tasks (Reminder: You should each read for a different task)

👻Read a book with a female MC
👻Read a book with a purple cover (min 50 %)
👻Read a book where a character visits or works in a library

I am okay with any of these tasks. Feel free to just choose one for me and I will get started on it tomorrow. I am going to bed soon.

Thoughts on this cover? TinEye says 48.9% violet, and 1.3% a very purple-ish pink.

If not, this one works.


I can also do any of the tasks, so if anyone has a favorite, I can change up.

My current book that I will be finishing shortly works for female MC and visits a library. I have a few books stacked on the cover that I can start. It looks like you have a couple purple cover ones Jenny.

Since I am in Cabo and on my cellphone, I can’t read the tasks because they don’t show up. If someone wouldn’t mind to copy and paste them and send me the tasks in a message then I can let you know which ones would work best for me.

I can do any of these three, but the one that jumped out at me is books stacked on the cover. I put my choices in the order that I would prefer.

And about wishing you were in Cabo, we have absolutely beautiful and gorgeous sunrises, and we are right on the ocean and have a beautiful view. That being said, we were all woken up this morning around 1 o’clock in the morning with shaking and rattling due to an earthquake! And we’re in the presidential suite on the top floor! Our top in our room is the rooftop! 😂 But I live in California so earthquakes aren’t new to me.

Actually, the book I am starting today has a female MC. So I could read for that one right away. But I can read for the others I mentioned after I get home Friday.

That is always a shock when there is an earthquake and you are in bed. We are having quite a few small earthquakes near Seattle where I live as well. Being right on the water sounds wonderful!

It's really nice here, and listening to the waves is so soothing.

Just let me know which task the team needs me to do. I think the ONLY one I can't do/don't have a book that works is a purple cover. That being said, if I need to read for that task I am sure I can find one. Just need to do some searching.

Sounds good. Rachel, are you okay if I do the female MC since I have that book with me? Hopefully, Carrie can do the last one. But I will read my female MC book and if she needs that one then I will read books stacked when I get home. I’m reading my female MC book regardless. 😂

That sounds great Vicki. I will do whichever one Carrie doesn't want. Most of my current reads are short and easy.

I finished one with a female MC today but I shouldn't have a problem finding one with a character that works in a library.

Yes, Character that visits or works in the library and stack of books on the cover are the two that are left.

I have read books today that will cover whichever one you don't want.

I likely won't finish my book until tomorrow or Saturday. Hope that works for you guys. I don't think there is a time limit, so we should probably figure out between us how fast or slow we feel like going.

Do we want to try for 1 book a week, or faster, or just go with the flow?

I am totally adaptable and can go with the majority. I think aiming for a book a week is a nice goal and if sometimes it's faster or slower than that's fine.

Slimer:

The team is called to the hotel to investigate a ghost sighting on the 12th floor. Team member 2 sees it eating. It is a small green, slimy, see-through ghost. You try to catch him but miss and catch the wall on fire. It takes off. Team member 1 sights it in the hallway and is slimed as it runs straight through him/her. The ghost is then found in the ballroom. Your team is making quite a mess of the ballroom as it attempts to capture this ghost. There are small fires all around the room. broken furniture and food is strewn around. Don't forget that you shouldn't cross your streams! That could be very dangerous! Can you capture him or will he get away?

I found books for all four tasks, so I will wait to see what you guys want to grab.

I don't currently have a book for fire on the cover but do have books for any of the other three tasks.

Do you have a preference? I am planning to read books this weekend that fit both. So. you can grab what you want if you like.

I have been working on books that work for either of those. Does one look better to you? I have a chapter left in my green cover book and a few chapters left in the food item so both should be done today and so I don't have a preference.

We are in the same boat. I will flip a mental coin and grab the green cover.
