I added a date... so I hope that was okay.

Since we started "early" (i.e. as soon as the January 2024 tag was announced), I thought we could end as soon as the January 2025 tag is announced (so around Dec 22).

November 30 seems to be listed twice. Was one of them supposed to be something else? Maybe November 15th before Thanksgiving.

Speaking up as my BWF Team reporter, there is no way I have any desire to be doing final tracking and reporting in the days just before Christmas. Not the tiniest bit. I can't imagine any other reporter wants to either.

I will rebel! Or at least picket and whine frequently and loudly. I might even go on strike.

Ditto. Theresa - The last three days before the deadline are really crazy with the rush to finish extra books, and Tracking and reporting is time consuming. Then Joanne and Anita have to do their work.

Similarly, Thanksgiving is late this year so family weekends hit my busiest time of the month with BWF. I expect a full house through the end of the month. I can’t slip away to read or get online too often. My brother might organize an intervention if he notices my addiction. Lol

So October 31 is my first choice (November 15 might also work.)

We’ve broken lots of records this year, and this game is intense. We’re reading like poll ballot but the rest of the world isn’t in a lockdown. (We finished poll ballot Nov 3 2020.) We earned a vacation, and time to catch up on other challenges, steeplechase, flurries, etc. (or sleep!)

People can do steeplechase on their own schedule, so it’s a lot more flexible for individuals to finish up in November and part of December.

Linda, I think there was a place to write in a comment or other option, Maybe someone typed the answer rather than Check the box.

Actually, Thanksgiving in the US being so late this year - November 28 - argues even more for BWF NOT continuing into December. December becomes a 3 week month for all year end events and work deadlines and commitments to happen as folks start leaving for the holidays. For those observing Hannukah, it completely overlaps Christmas week.

I'm already stressed just thinking about it! And wondering if I will manage to get my Christmas Tree up and decorated this year.

I voted for Nov 30, but I am fine with moving it earlier based on the concerns expressed above. I think the views of those doing the reporting should carry the most weight.

I have voted, but I would also be happy if this was a decision taken entirely by Anita and the team reporters, as they do so much extra work behind the scenes for this game to run smoothly.

That was because the game was connected to the election. No more votes after voting day. LOL!
