“Let see it,” Kai said excitedly.

As they walked in Death flicked the lights it was a mansion on the inside

“Wow…” Kai spun in a full circle, admiring the interior. “This is amazing.”

"I built this" Death smiled.

“How?!” Kai gawked at Death, “When did you have the time?”

Vesp looked around, admiring the structure but said nothing. Alastor shadowing her.

"I had a life before the Facility." He said as if remembering it. "I got my memory back."

"What was your life like?" Vesp smiled at him sadly.

“I’m so happy for you,” Kai said giving him a small smile.

(Sorry out of order again.)

Vesp startled. Someone had broken into her house.

(Yes, exactly, nothing wrong with that.)

"Ill be back," she said before leaving and flying into the skies.

“That was sudden,” Kai said out loud.

"She has her reasons," Alastor said quietly.

"Okay bye!" Death said quickly, "I remember my name. Where this place was How and when i built it but nothing else... I lost both of my parents a few years ago so i created this."

“Ah,” he spoke quietly now, “I see. I had a similar situation.”

Death sat down on the couch.

Alastor stood to the side. "Whats your backstory then, Kai?"

“Well, I either was born or got my abilities when I was really young. And my parents didn’t like that at all, so one day while I was in the car, they just decided to drop me off in the woods.” Kai paused reliving this memory, “They left me in the woods, I didn’t know why at the time, but I do now. They got into a severe car accident immediately after dropping me off to fend for myself, dying on site. They probably thought that leaving me in the woods was a good punishment for me, but now I think of it as a gift. I had to survive as an 10 year old in the woods by eating plants that you are not supposed indigest, getting bit by a multitude of things, and suffering from starvation.”

Death Heard The story nodding along. "Now I understand you better."

Alastor nodded along before going to stand by the entrance, waiting for Vesp's return.

Vesp walked back in her, her wings tucked in tightly behind her back, her face a mask of cool calm, but her eyes were full of rage.

Death seemed to be lost in thought.

Vesp saw that Death had a distanced look in his eyes, but she was too angry to care. It might've seemed minor to others, but someone was in her house. The only place that she felt fully safe in. And someone ruined it. She walked over to the corner and pulled out small notepad and a pencil, trying to draw, but she couldn't think straight.

"Someone's in your house." Death said knowing the look.

"Yes," she replied voice low.

"That sucks."

"Mm," was all she said, not particularly wanting to talk. All she wanted was a place to herself.

Changing the topic, Kai asked another question, “How long do you guys think that we going to be hiding out for?”

Death and Kai have been kind enough to her, but she's been betrayed before. She doesn't have enough information to fully know how much she can tell them.

Vesp shrugged.

"Until they give up searching." Death said. Yelling could be heard outside. "Speaking of.... They cant here us or see the light thats for sure."

"Is there some sort of ward around here?" she asked, glad to have some sort of distraction.

"I don't know."

Kai shrugged.

Death got up. "I'll show anyone around who wants to know the place.

(Let’s do that tomorrow, I’ve got to go to bed. C U guys later!!)
